Our Trip To Illinois
Posted in Life in Central IL, tagged Moby Dick, MPG, MPH on July 1, 2011|
Yay! We are almost to Missouri! And that means we are almost to Peoria, Illinois!
Moby Dick, our great white truck, is doing fine! Because it is an ’89, and because it is new to us, we decided to play it safe and drive 55 MPH (better for fuel efficiency too) for the entire trip. These days, even the semi trucks (most of them anyway) are going 70/75 MPH.
Speaking of Moby Dick, Mark’s great aunt, Evabeth, traced the family tree back to Herman Melville, author of Moby Dick!
The Truth about You
Posted in Life in Central IL, tagged Love, treatment on July 1, 2011| 2 Comments »
YOU ARE loved, loving, lovable, and lovely. This is the truth about you and by your own actions, you are proving this Truth every day!
The love you express knows no boundaries. You express patience, unselfishness, generosity, grace, creativity, and many other wonderful qualities. Remember, Love is the only power! No person, place, or thing can take good away from you or anyone else because evil has no power. Love doesn’t come from person, place or thing. God IS Love, and all the love that we see in others is a reflection of His/Her Love. Remember also that God is the source of all wisdom, energy, creativity, ability.
🙂 Loving you,
Rachel
