Aloha friends and family!!

It has been over a year since I posted, so I figured that it is about time that I send an update. We still, currently, have 12 acres of land in on the Big Island of Hawaii. In February of 2023, we bought the house and 3 acres next door to our 9 acres and it has been great to be in a house with plumbing and electricity! The land is almost a mile off of pavement. As stated in our previous post, earning money to support ourselves and make the world a beautiful place is important but seems to be difficult on the Big Island. We are currently considering selling our land to move somewhere where we can accomplish our goals more fully.

We are dreaming big, and considering/praying/looking for land in/around Eugene, OR. We have connected with Susanna Meyer to see if we want to join together so that we can build the following: home, school, agro-forestry/food forest/garden, chapel, guest rooms, a summer camp, an Arts Center, the list goes on and on!! The focus would be on healing, growth, sustainability, participation, and learning. The future homes are for staff and their families, a few foster children, a few applicants from Embraced Fully, students and teachers of permaculture, Christian Science nursing guests, friends and family visiting from afar, and wedding guests that come to use the chapel for their wedding. Christian Science is the foundation for everything done on the property. Please feel free to leave a comment here or email me at rachelannamcclintick@gmail.com if you are interested in participating in any part of the process.
